Peace, That Incendiary Dove
by Lisa Jensen
On whichever side we stand, we all agree that we want peace. Some outsiders think violence will get them what they want. These people are everywhere. It's up to us to not give them the power they crave.
The Red Kerchief
by Ann Marie Steele
I'm in love with this poem. The theme of lost love resonates with me, evoking the love that was never realized. I also love how Ann structured the article, starting with the painting and poem, explaining the painting, the artists, and her process. This is packed with value for the reader.
First light drawn from slumber
by Kyra McCusker
There's a dichotomy between ourselves and the responsibility we feel for other people in our lives. It's not simple to figure out what to do, and then we pile up some guilt. One day, we learn how to supersede these feelings with delight.

On the swivel 🔊
by Poetry By Ericajean
I was wondering what Ericajean was up to, and apparently, it was this thoughtful poem. I often tell people that poetry is a vehicle for protest, and we lost the art of writing poetry for that reason. Such poetry is best when it is a weave of images rather than too literal — as you will see when you read it.
White Noise
by Deanne
We want to be strong, but being weak often requires a lot of strength, too. The best reassurance that we're going to move forward, that we're not alone, and that there is a purpose for us in the world. It's a hug.
Reflections on Living With Uninvited Companions
by Marie Charon
I have featured Marie in the past. She is a talented, colorful, and open individual. I really appreciate this. I don't want to spoil it any further. It's up to Marie to write about herself, and I invite you to read the message she wrote for us after the poem.

with: You can't find peace in mayhem
red string theory
by nika
This makes me wonder how many people we encounter each day we will know better in the future. Suddenly, a person is someone that we used to not know. If you live in a city, especially, people are everywhere, but they only become visible when fate intervenes.
A Rare Visit
by Victory Palace
The poem has a great message that is mostly lost in our same-day-delivery world. True gifts are not material but emotional, existing in enduring bonds of love and memory.
Good Dog
by Joe Nichols
You're not living.
You're just being their dog.
Hear You Sing
by Pixel Floyd
This poem, in its beauty and bluntness, serves as a poignant reminder not only of why we should write but also of what we should ask of others and allow them to be: Themselves.
