For this episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with Daan Katz from Scribbled with Ink. Our conversation centered on his unique perspective on writing, particularly how his disability offers him opportunities, insights, and perspectives that he can use to deliver his own brand of writing!

As an editor, Daan shared valuable insights on how to craft a hook in poetry and navigate the delicate process of both giving and receiving criticism during the editing process. We also discussed his published works, the interplay between his poetry and novels, and the practical challenges of self-publishing, had a discussion about neurodiversity in writing and classical music.

We concluded with Daan Reading from his poetry and some musings about the purpose of reading and writing poetry.

It was great to have this insightful conversation with Daan. I extend my heartfelt thanks to him for graciously accepting my invitation to share his unique perspective with us.

I hope you enjoy 28 minutes with Daan Katz!
